Taxi from Colombo Airport (CMB) to Galle
Looking for a reliable taxi from Colombo Airport to Galle? Jayasinghe Tours is based in Katunayake, beside Bandaranaike International Airport, so your driver is already close when you land. The distance to Galle is about 150 km and the journey takes about 2 to 2.5 hours via the Southern Expressway.
Galle is a UNESCO World Heritage city, famous for its Dutch Fort, lighthouse and ramparts, and a gateway to the south-coast beaches of Unawatuna, Mirissa and Hikkaduwa.
About the Journey
The Southern Expressway makes this one of the quickest long transfers from the airport. Hotels in the fort, and beach hotels along the south coast, can all be reached directly.
Our drivers are local, speak English and know the roads and the best places to stop. The vehicle is air-conditioned and fits your luggage, from a compact car for couples to a minivan for families and groups. See our car rental with driver service if you want the same driver for your whole trip.
