How Airport Pickup Works
- Before you fly: send your flight number, arrival time, passenger numbers and the vehicle you prefer by WhatsApp or email.
- On arrival: we meet you at the arrivals terminal.
- Self-drive guests: the 24/7 DMT office in the airport lobby issues your temporary Sri Lankan driving permit for 50 USD. You need your passport and a valid national licence with at least 6 months validity.
- Drive away or ride with your driver to your hotel or first stop.
Airport Rental, Transfer or Car With Driver
Self-drive rental suits travellers who want to explore independently from day one. Taxi and transfer service suits guests going to a hotel in Negombo, Colombo or elsewhere; for example, a price for a CMB to Negombo transfer is quoted on request. A car with a driver covers the transfer and the rest of your trip.

Rates are per day in US dollars with insurance and unlimited mileage included. A refundable deposit of at least $300 USD applies to self-drive rentals.
