In short: the Sri Lanka Ramayana Trail by Jayasinghe Tours is a private 7 Nights / 8 Days road tour for Indian travellers. What is the Sri Lanka Ramayana Trail tour package for Indians?

It is a private 7 Nights / 8 Days road journey by Jayasinghe Tours that visits Sri Lankan temples and landscapes traditionally associated with the Ramayana, including Munneswaram, Manavari, Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple at Ramboda, Seetha Amman Temple, Gayathri Peedam, Divurumpola, Ravana Falls, Ussangoda, Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple and Kelaniya, mixed with Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella and Kataragama.

Where do we stay on the first night?

The first night is in Chilaw, so you can visit Munneswaram and Manavari Temples close to where you sleep. The remaining overnights are Kandy, Nuwara Eliya (two nights), Ella, Kataragama or Tissamaharama and Colombo.

How much does the Ramayana Trail package cost?

Pricing is a custom quotation because it depends on travel dates, group size, vehicle type, hotel category and meal plan. Message Jayasinghe Tours on WhatsApp +94 787 077 007 or email booking@jayasinghetours.com for a personalised proposal.

Is the tour suitable for families and senior travellers?

Yes. The pace is relaxed with private transport and flexible stops. Most temple visits involve little walking. Optional activities such as Ravana Cave and Little Adam’s Peak involve climbing and can be skipped.

Is vegetarian food available on the route?

Yes. Vegetarian meals are widely available in the places on this route. Tell us your dietary needs when booking so your driver can plan meal stops.

Does the itinerary include Koneswaram in Trincomalee or sites in the north?

No. This 8-day route covers the west, central highlands and south. Trincomalee’s Koneswaram Temple and northern sites such as Thiruketheeswaram add a lot of driving. Ask us for a longer 10–12 day route if those are essential.

What do Indian travellers need to enter Sri Lanka?

Requirements such as passport validity and the electronic travel authorisation (ETA) can change, so please check the current rules on the official Sri Lankan government and immigration websites before booking.

Can the itinerary be customised?

Yes. Temple order, hotel level, number of nights and extra stops such as a safari or beach days can all be adjusted around your flights and interests.
